What is Strategator?
Strategator allows you to search information about companies, for example: company location, online reputation, stock market news and indicators, blogs, social network information, internet links, corporate communications, etc.
What do I use it for?
Strategator helps you to perform market research, competition surveillance or to monitor your reputation.

How do I access Strategator services?
To use Strategator information services beyond the free search aggregation tools, you have to subscribe to a specific package. All the available packages and their descriptions are available on the Offer page
Do the prices on the site include VAT?
No, the prices displayed on the site do not include VAT.
Can I start my marketing research right away after my payment?
Yes. Immediately after subscription is completed you can access your personal Strategator account and start searching for information about businesses.
What are the possible means of payment?
The Strategator site offers secure payment by credit card using tools secured by its bank partners and guarantees that only the bank and its technical payment partner will be aware of information concerning credit cards.
How do I manage my account?
Once you have accessed your account using your login email and password, click on the “Profile” heading at the top of the page. Here you can change your personal information, your credentials and your preferred account settings. You can also extend your subscription or buy additional options from this section.
What if I have forgotten my password?
Click on "Password Forgotten?" at the top of the page and enter your email address. A password reset link will be emailed to you, with instructions on how to proceed.
How do I search for a company?
Type a business name and select the resident country in the search box.
How do I refine my search?
Customize your search by including or excluding specific keywords in the search box. You can also sort your results by relevance or date.
How do I save my search?
In order to be able to save your searches you have to subscribe to either a free trial or to a monthly package. To save a search, click on the "Save" button at the top of the page and name it.
Why is there a limit on the number of searches?
Strategator operations take up quite a lot of bandwidth and CPU time. If you want to perform and save more searches you can buy additional pages from the "Extend subscription" page in your Strategator Profile.
How do I remove a specific search?
To remove a searched for page, you simply click on the delete sign of the page’s name tab.
Can I edit a specific search?
Yes, you can edit your search, by modifying the search parameters from the search box.
Can I create alerts on my searches?
Yes, you can create alerts per page or per widget. The alert will report all changes since the last occurrence (last alert sent or alert creation).
How can I create an alert on a specific page?
Click on the "Create new alert" button below the search box, fill in the alert name, frequency and select the corresponding page.
How can I create an alert on a specific widget?
To create an alert, click the down-arrow in the title bar, choose the "Create alert" option, and type the alert name and frequency, and save it. Elements reported in widget alerts are also reported in page alerts.
What is the maximum number of alerts I can create?
You can create up to one alert per widget, this is one alert per each active instance of a widget.
Where can I manage my alerts?
To access the whole list of created alerts, simply click on "My alerts" at the top of the page. Here you can view, edit or delete your alerts.
What widgets are displayed by default for a specific search?
By default, the following widgets are displayed:
- General information
- Financial information
- News
- Blogs
- Documents
- Links
- Social networks
Can I add more widgets to my page?
Yes, you can add widgets to your page by clicking on the "Add widget" button, below the search box.
How can I configure the widgets?
You can edit your widget settings by clicking the down-arrow in the title bar of each widget and choosing "Edit settings". You can arrange widgets by dragging and dropping them within the page.
Can I have many instances of the same widget?
Yes, of course, and you can customize each instance differently. Alerts are related to each instance. Closing, editing, setting alerts for an instance does not affect other instances.
